harchenkoDr. Vern Harchenko is a 1994 graduate of St. George University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies.  A North Dakota native, his prior medical experience includes Chief Medical Officer for the Three-Affiliated Tribes, Minne-Tohe Medical Center in New Town, serving as medical director for Trinity Health’s Convenient Care Clinic, and Burdick Job Crops Center in Minot.  He also served as the medical director for the Ward County Jail.  Dr. Harchenko served in the U. S. Army and is a Vietnam veteran.  He has also served with the North Dakota National Guard and as a staff physician at Minot Air Force Base.  His hobbies include fishing, fishing, and collecting old fishing equipment.  He has two daughters.

 

Kate_smallKate Larson, PA-C was a registered nurse for seven years prior to attending the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program. She has been working at the Garrison Family Clinic since 1995. Kate says one of her special interests in the medical field is in dealing with women’s health issues.  Kate, who grew up in the Garrison area and is a graduate of Garrison High School, enjoys the atmosphere the rural setting of Garrison offers.  She is married to Gary Larson. The couple have two children, Arianna and Samuel.  Her hobbies include singing, family and antiques.

DaraDara Schroeder, FNP-C, a native of Bismarck, was a registered nurse for seven years prior to obtaining her Master's of Science in nursing with a focus as an FNP from the University of Mary.  She has worked in various areas which include OB & GYN, telephone triage, oncology and hematology, and ER. She resides in Bismarck with her daughter, Courtney.  Her hobbies inlude spending time with family and friends, attending sporting events, and scrapbooking.

 

dornackerDr. Jon Dornacker, a native of Mayville,  earned the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biology and chemistry in 1987 at Mayville State University. He also earned a law degree from the UND School of Law in 1991 and practiced law for seven years in Grand Forks, Carrington and Bismarck. He and his wife, Kristy, have two children, Alexander, and Cassandra.  The family resides in Garrison
